Disney Princess Dress Up Trunk
BUY NOW
Average rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
21 piece set includes 4 shirts, 3 skirts, 2 headbands, 1 tiara, 1 choker, 3 bracelets, 1 pair of earrings, 1 necklace, 3 rings and storage trunk
Real mom raves: My daughter received this for her 2nd birthday. It's a very sweet set that fits her well. The set is inexpensive, so don't expect "princess dress quality", however it's perfect for daily dress up. Her favorite part is the jewelry. The trunk is made of cardboard, and isn't very sturdy. Overall she has a great time with this toy.
LeapFrog Letter Factory Phonics
BUY NOW
Average rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
26 singing letters bring the alphabet to life Based on the award-winning Letter Factory DVD, little learners place letter tiles in the "factory" to hear songs that teach the corresponding letter names and sounds
Real mom raves: My daughter can spend hours plugin the letters into the slot. Once the letter is plugged it says the sounds of the letter (including the double sounds). I've noticed a huge improvement in letter recognition and pronunciation within the first few days of using it. I absolutely recommend this toy!

Average rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
Develops matching, sorting, strategic thinking, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and pre-handwriting skills .
Real mom raves: Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel is a game perfect for preschoolers to develop matching skills, develop fine motor skills, social skills of taking turns and strategic thinking skills. Kids are not only learning their colors, but learning decision making as they pick which acorn they need and learn good sportsmanship when their turn is skipped. It really is a cute game perfect for both boys and girls.
Disney Frozen Sparkle Princess Elsa Doll
BUY NOW
Average rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
This list would be incomplete without toys from Disney's Frozen! Many Frozen products seemed to come with poor reviews, but this Elsa doll has been met with raves.
Real mom raves: Perfect doll for a 3 year old Frozen fan. the top and skirt are easily removed and put back on by little fingers. The bodice is painted on and though some don't like the feature, I love it. Elsa turns into a mermaid and a gymnast and whatever else a little mind can dream up. The doll is quality built, and the crown and hair has stayed put since we purchased it.
Fisher-Price Travel Doodler Pro
BUY NOW
Average rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
Same classic doodling but in a smaller package!
Real mom raves: 1. My toddler/preschooler can color without me worrying about them marking on walls and other surfaces (because the pen only writes on the Doodle Pro).
2. The pen is attached to the toy, which is great, because I know that we would have lost it long ago if it weren't attached.
3. The screen is relatively large. There are probably larger ones out there, but this one was sufficiently large.
Kidoozie My First Purse
BUY NOW
Average rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
Includes play cell phone, keys and wallet. Also includes pretend lipstick, unbreakable mirror and debit card
Real mom raves: Got this for my daughter 2nd birthday (about 3 months ago). Like many other little girls she has had a fascination with purses for a long time. She even had a real one she'd take out for a while. I had been waiting to find a better, more fun, (and safer) toy one. This one is fantastic! I love how it has all the essential contents of a purse. My daughter carries it on her arm when we go out. She pretends to put on the "lipstick" and even started "sliding" the "debit card" in between the keys of her toddler piano!
Magna-Tiles® Clear Colors 100 Piece Set
BUY NOW
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Develops pattern and shape recognition. Easy to use, colorful tiles that your little one can use to build 3D masterpieces!
Real mom raves: They were totally worth the money - just to see my three kids sitting there all working together to build something. I highly recommend the 100 piece set. 32 pieces just isn't enough. In fact, I think we need more than 100 pieces because each of my kids wanted to build a huge Empire State Building tower!
For those of you who are scared about the price tag, I assure you it is worth the money.
Candy Land - The Kingdom of Sweets Board Game
BUY NOW
Average rating: 4 out of 5 stars
The classic game from our childhoods are still a hit with the new generation!
Real mom raves: Over 30 years ago, when my parents and I played "Candy Land," I used to get so excited thinking about all the delicious sweets, candies, cakes, and ice creams that were on the cards and the boards. The colors were stimulating, and I spent many happy hours with my father and mother over this board game. Now that I have my own children, I have enjoyed watching them (ages 2 and 4) play "Candy Land" again with me. The game has not changed much, and it is still as colorful as I remember. I see that it makes them happy and I understand the educational value of this game better as a parent.
Step2 Neat & Tidy Cottage
BUY NOW
Average rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
Open design allows mom and dad to watch children while at play
Real mom raves: I comparison shopped and this cottage appeared to be the best deal for its brand and size. My kids LOVE it! It's not an overwhelming size, we keep ours in the house, but it's not too small for multiple children to play in (a common complaint about other cottages if you look at different reviews) - my 2 toddlers spend hours in there: cooking, playing with stuffed animals, "sleeping," playing store, cleaning it up, I could go on and on.
VTech Spin and Learn Color Flashlight
BUY NOW
Average rating: 4 out of 5 stars
Color changing light with 5 different colors. Sing along and learn counting numbers one, two, and three.
Real mom raves: Bought this for my 3 year old for Christmas. he loves flash lights and lanterns. it says 18-36 months on it, which would work fine for that age range too, but with how educational it is I think it can be stretched further.

Color or paint and watch the colors magically appear on the special paper but not on skin, table, walls or floors.
Real mom raves: Not many markers, so you'll want to order extras but this kit is great! plus with the water proof lining on the mat there is no chance for accidents. The paper pad is small, but conveniently sized. The paint set is big though!

Bright colors and easy-to-assemble pieces encourage children to create moving masterpieces
Real mom raves: I look for toys that are fairly quiet, easy to play with and fun. I want a toy that will inspire creativity and exploration of the world. I look for toys that are sturdy and will last a long time. I look for toys that will grow with my child.
This toy fits into all of these expectations and more.
Fisher-Price Little People Lil' Movers Airplane
BUY NOW
Average rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
Little People figures wiggle and wobble as kids spin the wheel .
Real mom raves: I would recommend comparison shopping (I bought one at Target for about 16 dollars), but this is a really great purchase. My daughter is 2, and this is one of her very favorite toys. Not only does she play with it, but she uses the airplane to carry her "people" with her on car trips. During play dates, this is definitely one toy that gets used most of the time!
Melissa & Doug Food Groups
BUY NOW
Average rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
Includes all 4 food groups, each stored seperately.
Real mom raves: My kids (ages 2, 4, 6 and 8) love this wooden pretend food. It's much better made than the plastic stuff and doesn't come with a bunch of worthless pieces, like cardboard cereal boxes that don't last more than a few hours.
