The 34-year-old took to her Facebook on Tuesday to announce the happy news. This is the first child for Spektor and her husband of three years, singer-songwriter Jack Dishel.
“Hi everyone! I wanted to let you know that Jack and I have been happily hanging out with our new little son and that all is going great!” she wrote, adding that there won’t be any photos or updates about the new bundle of joy.
There is one thing the new mom did confirm: her son is “super CUTE!!!”
Spektor first announced her baby news in January, when she told her fans she couldn’t go to the Grammy Awards because she was “super pregnant at the moment.” The singer received her first Grammy nomination for “You’ve Got Time,” the theme song from “Orange is the New Black.”
