This fall expect the nail craze to continue going strong. One of my favorite color schemes consists of deep blues, sea greens, and rich browns from latte to deep chocolate complement all skin tones. To balance these sultry colors, you’ll find gray and teal mixed in with many of the shades, which makes them even more luxurious. As rich as these colors may be, they are definitely meant for daytime wear. Regardless if your day is spent doing errands in jeans or running to your ‘day’ job, these polishes up your game with an instant boost to your daily look.
Here are 7 of my favorite nail colors for fall:
Luxe Nail Colors: Fall 2014
-
Momma by Jennifer Fisher Jewelry x RGB Cosmetics
Navy will be one of (if not the) most popular shades this fall. Wear this color confidently, as it doesn’t fool around, for it is as luxe as you get. A collaboration between Ms. Fisher and RGB who combine a sultry mix of navy blue, olive green, and just enough gray to keep it from going black.

Fall In Line, by Essie
Essie’s hues for fall are all standouts. I have been testing this shade the last week and the touch of teal is a mix I have never seen in a polish. It complements my olive skin yet when my more fair-skinned friend tested it it looked a bit mossier and very pretty.
-
Going My Way Or Norway, by OPI
This shade is a buttery light brown you’ll want to wear every day. If you're searching for a new nude this season, or perhaps taking a break from the pale pinks, this is the shade for you. Wear it to balance some of your bright and bold colors from your closet.
-
Bruton Mews Nailkale Polish, by Nailsinc London
This gorgeous deep forest green is the perfect replacement if you want to give your red some rest this season. Sexy---but don’t wait for a rare night out---this can be worn any day of the week.
-
Don’t Shy Away Extraordinaire Gel-Lacque 1-2-3, by L’Oréal Paris
This polish glides on smoothly and the result is a salon-looking gel nail. It is meant to work with a primer followed by two coats of polish. With a pop of bright blue mixed with darker ingredients, this color is perfect if you're looking for something in the blue hue that is still deep yet doesn’t read dark navy.
-
Coco Suede Nail Lacquer, by Laura Mercier
Last season, the brown shades were missing a bit of oomph. This season they have found their place and you will not be disappointed by this beautiful shade from Laura Mercier. This coco hue complements dark skin tones, yet will look super chic against fair skin, making this polish my favorite for the season.
-
Blue Velvet, by Marc Jacobs Beauty
This polish is as luxurious as it gets: a mix of sea green and lagoon blue topped off with a metallic sheen. Pair this enamored polish with your favorite fall pieces.
