Super cool party games for kids, a party theme they’ll remember, and how many kids to invite (four or the whole class?) — those are the challenges I face every time I plan a party for one of my girls. The guest list and theme are relatively easy to solve. But, it’s a little more challenging to come up with birthday party games that appeal to a diverse group. Some kids are very energetic, while others like to keep things low-key. Between the six parties I’ve planned (and DIYed to death), I’ve gotten pretty good at choosing party games for kids that work well with co-ed parties, all-one gender parties, and all kinds of personalities.
