Maybe it’s not quite right to say these ladies are our “favorite” celebrity moms, because really, how can you pick favorite moms? Maybe it’s better to say these are popular celebrity moms whom we like to see.
Jennifer Garner is one celebrity mom who definitely ranks high on our list. We’ve all seen Jennifer doing the school run with Violet and taking little Seraphina out to the park. This is a mother who may still be a working actress (her most recent film, Butter, reportedly is filming in Louisiana right now), but she still makes time to be a hands-on mother. And all of us working mothers can sympathize with what a struggle it can be to juggle a career and motherhood!
Victoria Beckham is a celebrity mom who makes one thing clear: you don’t have to lose your sense of style once you become a mother. She may be busy schlepping around three active boys, but she schleps in her stilettos! While most of us may not be able to match her high fashion standards, watching her do it is fun. (And we don’t have the aching feet that Victoria must have to deal with on a regular basis.)
One celebrity mother no one gets tired of seeing is Katie Holmes. If you watched Katie when she first came onto the scene in Dawson’s Creek, then you’ve watched her grow from actress to becoming a mother and then marrying one of the biggest movie stars on the planet: Tom Cruise. As if that wasn’t enough of a fairytale, Suri is one of the MOST adorable celebrity kids out there: a mini-Katie with her fashionable clothes. Too cute!
Halle Berry is one of the celebrities that we were all thrilled to see become a mother. We watched her go through two hearbreaking divorces, finally find a good guy in model Gabriel Aubry, and give birth to daughter Nahla. Things may not have worked out with Gabriel, but I’m sure having Nahla made handling the end of this relationship much easier for Halle. And LOOK at her: how many mothers can show off their midriff like this?
And last but certainly not least: no list of popular celebrity moms would be complete without Angelina Jolie. She seems to have come into her own through motherhood: her surprise adoption of Maddox led to the end of a lot of her wild-child ways. Once she found a partner equally interested in having a family (one Mr. Brad Pitt), Angelina blossomed, growing her family through adoption from around the world as well as giving birth to three children herself. Not only that, Angelina’s career has never been hotter. Rather than struggling to juggle career and motherhood, Angelina seems to be thriving with it all. She’s living the dream.
