Kyra Sedgwick stopped by for a chat with David Letterman last night.
Busy mom Kyra made a visit to David Letterman's show last night to talk about her show,'The Closer', which began airing its sixth season last night. Kyra recently scored an Emmy nomination for her work on the show.
The actress has talked at length about the difficulties of shooting in Los Angeles when her family lives in New York City. Her kids Travis (20) and Sosie (18) were in the midst of their teen years when she accepted the role and says it wouldn't have been possible without the support of husband Kevin Bacon. "Kevin has to share me with more of the world now than he signed up for. He did sign up for an actress, but my life has become bigger, and I've become more independent… he's been home a lot with the kids," she says. "I go to work, and sometimes at the end of the day, I'm too tired to have a really long conversation…To be able to count on someone like that, it moves me."
