As Michael Douglas battles cancer he still finds energy for family and work.
Michael is in the midst of his treatment for stage four throat cancer, yet he is finding the time and energy for the other obligations in his life. He has been seen almost every morning walking his daughter Carys (7) to school and running errands. He's also in the middle of a hectic press blitz for his movie "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps", which includes attending premieres and doing the talk show circuit.
Michael recently shared that he hasn't kept any part of his cancer a secret from his younger kids, Dylan (10) and Carys (with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones): “The kids, yeah, they’ve been fine. I’ve taken them down to the hospital and shown them the whole radiology thing. They’ve watched me actually get zapped.”
If you've known anyone that has battled with cancer, radiation treatments and chemotherapy zap the energy right out of them. I'd love to know Michael's secret for staying so active and energetic. We wish him well in his fight.
Are you planning to see Wall Street 2? It's on my to-do list for the weekend!
