Angelina Jolie Discusses Her Directorial Debut; Donates Money

Angelina Jolie hopes her new film will appeal to a wide audience.

Angelina has been in Budapest directing her latest project, an untitled love story centered around the Bosnian War, which she also wrote.  She says that she’s trying to keep the film from seeming too heavy:  “The important thing is I want to make sure that we make a film for people who just want to go to the movies to watch a love story. To not be put off by anything that seems too heavy. We want to walk that fine line to make it accessible to everybody because it’s important for as many people to see it.”

Angelina also shared that although the movie was shot in color, she’s considering a conversion to black and white, but hasn’t made the final call yet.  “It’s shot in color but it could transfer to black and white. We haven’t decided that. We put a series of pictures together in black and white and it was beautiful.”

In other Brad and Angie news, yesterday the celebrity couple donated $150,000 in honor of National Adoption Day.  Their Jolie-Pitt foundation gave the sizable donation to the SOS Children’s Villages USA, which helps with the needs of children in foster care and shelters whose families are unable to care for them.
