Nicole Richie says that the rumors of any ‘catfighting’ between her and Jessica Simpson on the set of their new reality show are completely false.
Nicole and Jessica are teaming up on the new reality competition ‘Fashion Star‘, so naturally the tabloids have to make us think that two strong women can’t work together without hair pulling and jealousy. Rumors were swirling that the two celebrities weren’t getting along on set, but Nicole called in to Ryan Seacrest’s radio show to set the record straight.
“I’ll tell you right now that that couldn’t be further from the truth. I actually love and adore Jessica. I’ve known her for years, first of all, so I already knew who she was as a person. Who she is is someone who’s very kind, very sweet and extremely smart and a great businesswoman and someone that I really respect … I actually couldn’t love someone or respect someone more.”
The show is set to start airing this fall and will feature aspiring designers vying for a chance to a multi-million dollar contract to launch their own brand.
“I’m really excited and it’s something that I’m extremely honored to be a part of. We have a lot of fun on it.”
