If Kim Kardashian’s baby name choice (North West) left you wondering “why?”, we may have the answer for you!
An insider tells E! that Kim and Kanye put a lot of thought into their new daughter’s name. A source close to the famous pair shared, “North means highest power. North is the most high. There is nothing higher than North. And, when it comes to the stars, the sun rises in the East and sets in the West.”
The family friend continued, explaining that Kim and Kanye “look at her as being their highest point together. Nothing is more special than North. Kim keeps saying, ‘She is our North Star.'”
I’m still on the fence. I have a strong feeling that “North” was just the name they put on her birth certificate for now. I believe they’ll officially change it and announce it on Kris Jenner’s new talk show or on their reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. There’s nothing “wrong” with the name North, I just don’t think it’s her permanent name in this case.
