Supplies:
- wood blocks
- tape
- paints in various colors
- foam brush
- pencil eraser
Instructions:
Step 1: To paint stripes, tape one side of the blocks, leaving exposed strips in between the tape.
Step 2: Paint away! Be careful around the cracks with the paint, if you use too much it can seep in and get onto the other sides of the blocks.
Step 3: Remove the tape to reveal your stripes! Let dry.
Step 4: Now on to another side. Paint on a message for the player to spell out when putting the blocks together. I like the idea of doing a long, funny message for older kids to figure out.
Step 5: Continue to do more shapes, patterns and pictures for the other sides, and enjoy!
