I hosted Thanksgiving last year, and am hosting again this year. Between menu prep and coordinating the potluck with my family, I let one thing slip through the cracks last year: giving the kids something to do. While they do entertain themselves for the most part, my kids especially are happier and better behaved when they have a planned activity. This year I’m going into it prepared, with some easy and fun crafts and activities that’ll keep them entertained during Thanksgiving dinner. Armed with these activities, maybe I’ll actually get a chance to take a few bites of this turkey that I’m spending all day cooking.
