I love creating DIY projects using photos of my family. I feel like it adds a personal cozy touch to the home. My family is a bit (okay, very) quirky, so I thought it’d be fun to make these DIY photo collage coasters by placing my son in wacky situations.
Supplies:
- Old magazines (You can also use tissue paper or scrapbook paper.)
- Printed photos on printer paper
- Tissue paper
- Mod-Podge
- Brush
- Scissors
- Tiles (I used Chiaro tumbled 4”x4” tiles from Home Depot.)
- Adhesive felt pads
Instructions:

Step 1: Rip and cut out images from magazines.

Step 2: Print out photos on your home printer on basic printer paper.

Step 3: Place adhesive felt pads on the back of tiles.

Step 4: Design funny scenes using your photos and magazine cut-outs.

Step 5: Brush Mod-Podge onto the tile and place the images onto the tile. Brush the Mod-Podge over the images. Let dry.
Project complete!
