The baby bump is finally here. Guardians of the Galaxy star Zoe Saldana, whose reps confirmed she is pregnant in early August, showed off her pregnant belly in an amusing ice bucket challenge video. Accepting the challenge, she says, “Obviously, I can’t do it myself,” then turns sideways and rubs her baby bump, adding, “So I nominate my husband to take on the challenge.”
It’s the first child for Saldana, 36, and husband, Marco Perego, an Italian artist. The two were married in London in September 2013.
E! Online reported in July that Saldana is pregnant with twins — so two bundles of Hollywood joy could be on the way — but that hasn’t been confirmed.
In January, the actress finalized a deal to star in three sequels to Avatar. In the video she challenged director James Cameron to do the ice-bucket challenge.
