That’s right: Kelly Clarkson is now a mom times two!
The 33-year-old Grammy Award winner and her husband, music manager Brandon Blackstock, welcomed their baby boy on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. They shared the big news with this positively gushing Twitter announcement:
Our little baby boy has arrived!! Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn’t be happier or more in love!

After announcing her second pregnancy at a concert in Los Angeles last August, the “American Idol” alum didn’t let pregnancy slow her down (even though she admitted to having pretty bad morning sickness). Clarkson canceled part of her tour but continued to top the charts, and even made an appearance on the final episode of the show that made her famous.
She later shared that baby #2 would be a boy, in this cute gender reveal on Instagram.
Oh, and did we mention this multi-talented mama also penned a children’s book named after her adorable daughter, River Rose? River Rose and the Magic Lullaby follows her little cutie’s adventures, and there’s sure to be a sequel now that the 22-month-old has her work cut out for her as a big sister.
