2. It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966)

This animated Halloween television special is based on the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz. The movie celebrates the spooky season in true Peanuts style. In the show, Linus waits for the elusive Halloween symbol to appear in the pumpkin patch.

3. Casper

This classic Halloween movie is a must-watch. In the movie, Carrigan Crittenden hires a paranormal expert Dr James Harvey to exorcise the ghosts from her mansion but things change when Harvey’s daughter meets and becomes friends with a ghost, Casper.

Watch this comedy Halloween movie with your entire family, you will surely have a good time. This story revolves around a friendship between a human kid and a monster. The movie starts in a town named Monstropolis, where best friends Sulley and Mike are the top scarers working at Monsters, Inc. But their lives get disrupted when a human girl enters their world, trying to become friends with the monsters. 

6. Muppets Haunted Mansion

Who doesn’t love muppets? They are fun and brave. But maybe not in this movie. The movie shows the Great Gonzo – a world-famous daredevil artiste- who has done it all, seen it all, and survived it all. But things go awry on Halloween night when the fearless Gonzo takes on the greatest challenge of his life – to spend one dreadful night in the most grinning place on Earth, The Haunted Mansion.

7. Ghostbusters (1984)

Before you start watching the recent Ghostbusters movie, revisit the classic supernatural comedy Halloween movie. After parapsychologists Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Bill Murray lose their positions at a university in New York City, they decide to ghost-catching business to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money. 9. Hotel Transylvania (2012)

This 2012 movie will surely make your little one laugh. In this Halloween movie, Count Dracula runs a high-end resort for monsters. Although he is scary, but he is overprotective of his daughter, Mavis. When a human boy named Johnny stays at the hotel, Dracula gets tensed and does his best to prevent Mavis from falling for him.

10. The Addams Family (1991) 

Your watchlist is incomplete without this 90’s classic Halloween movie, The Addams Family. In this sitcom, con artists plan to cheat an eccentric family of their vast fortune. They even find a look-alike of a long-lost family member to execute their plans but soon others sense that something is wrong and try to find the truth.
