Personal trainer Jillian Michaels announced that she will be leaving “The Biggest Loser”.
Jillian announced on her Twitter account that season 11 will be her last with the reality weight-loss competition show. Jillian’s contract is up at the end of season 11, and she decided not to renew so that she can start a family. She shared that doing her own reality show last year “Losing it With Jillian” increased her desire to start a family sooner rather than later. “I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work. Shooting Losing It also had big impact on me. Living with kids I saw firsthand what I was missing.”
The show is currently airing season 10, but is filming season 11. Jillian says that they’ve already hired her replacement and are going to introduce her during season 11’s run.
