New baby, a wedding, an engagement, and a vacation goes up in flames!
- Kate Winslet and her kids, Mia and Joe, are safe and sound after a fire burned down the home they were vacationing in! Kate was staying at Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island with family and friends when the fire broke out around 4 a.m. They believe lightning is to blame for starting the blaze (see photo above!). Thankfully everyone is okay!
- Rod Stewart is a grandfather! His daughter, Kimberly Stewart, and actor Benicio del Toro welcomed a baby girl on Sunday in L.A. Sunday also happened to be Kimberly’s 32nd birthday – what a special birthday present! Kimberly and Benicio are not a couple, but are both excited about their daughter and plan to parent together. Rod shared his excitement over becoming a grandpa: “My joy is indescribable”
- Country singer Chely Wright tied the knot with her partner, Lauren Blitzer over the weekend. They said their vows at the home of Chely’s aunt in Connecticut. She shared with People: “The freedom of being out and open about who I am allowed me to find and fall in love with Lauren – the most amazing woman I’ve ever known.”
- Actor Donald Faison and Cacee Cobb, Jessica Simpson’s former assistant and close friend, announced their engagement via Twitter. Donald’s former ‘Scrubs’ co-star Zach Braff tweeted his congratulations: “Congrats to @donald_faison and @caceecobb on their engagement. Just wish I was there to run around you both with sparklers.”
