Heidi Klum moves to make her split from Seal official.
After almost seven years together, Heidi has filed for divorce from singer Seal.
The couple announced their split back in January and have both talked with the media about their breakup, but without slinging mud, pointing fingers, or giving up any true details on what caused their separation.
In the papers filed on Friday, Heidi is seeking to restore her last name (even though she has never used Samuel professionally) to Klum. She’s also requesting joint custody of their four children, Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2, with her retaining physical primary placement.
It’s sad that they couldn’t work things out, but hopefully they will be able to settle things amicably.
