About E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial
A troubled child summons the courage to help a friendly alien escape from Earth and return to his home planet. A young boy, Elliott finds a extraterrestrial being that has been accidentally left behind on earth. Elliott and E.T. develop a close bond and it becomes aparent that E.T. cannot survive on Earth and must find a way home. With the help of Elliott, his siblings and friends they help E.T. evade government scientist and help him reunite with his family.

E.T. is on of the most iconic film of an entire generation and there is a good reason for that. The story-telling and cinematography left a huge impact on film-making in the 80s and beyond. The story is about the unlikely friendship between to very different beings. This sci-fi film has equal parts adventure and heart. The is occasional use of profanity and name calling that may be inappropriate for some families. There are scenes where the characters are being chase or may encounter stressful situations. Emotionally sensitive children may be upset by an apparent death of a character.
