Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem

New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Movie Releases Trailer

They’re lean, they’re green, they’re mean…and they’re coming to the silver screen! Yes, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back to entertain a whole new generation of kids – and they have a brand-new look, too.

New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Coming Soon

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is a forthcoming feature film from “permanent teenager” Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. In the flick, voiced by Nicolas Cantu (Leonardo), Shamon Brown Jr. (Michelangelo), Micah Abbey (Donatello), and Brady Noon (Raphael), the Turtles are mouthy teens with energy to burn.

A new trailer from Nickelodeon informs fans that “a new generation of heroes will rise straight from the sewer.” Then viewers see the half-shelled creatures slicing through a watermelon with a sword, playing with ninja stars, and, of course, saving New York City from bad guys (who refer to the Turtles as “little Shreks”). Along the way, they befriend April O’Neill, their first human ally. Will they be able to conquer an army of mutants and take down a crime syndicate?

New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Boasts All-Star Cast

Even if you’ve matured far beyond your TMNT days, it’ll be exciting to see how the star-studded cast takes on their roles. Look for the talents of Jackie Chan (Master Splinter), Ayo Edebiri (April O’Neil), Paul Rudd (Mondo Gecko), John Cena (Rocksteady), Seth Rogen (Bebop), Rose Byrne (Leatherhead), Post Malone (Ray Fillet), Hannibal Buress (Genghis Frog), and Maya Rudolph (Cynthia Utrom), among many others.

The film also uses an animation style inspired by comic books, similar to that of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, so that makes this nostalgic piece of cinema worth checking out, too.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem bursts onto screens Aug. 4.

So, what do you say, moms? (Pro tip: the only right answer is “Cowabunga!”)
