Perrineu has racked up tons of acting cred, having played crucial roles like Mercutio in the big-screen adaptation of Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo and Juliet to Michael in the addictive and acclaimed television series, Lost, and it’s no wonder—his appeal certainly isn’t lost on us. In this hair-raising movie, his character is a tech-savvy CIA operative who tracks the cell phone of an essential member of Bin Laden’s inner circle, eventually leading the CIA to the terrorist compound.

This Lebanese heartthrob may be new to Hollywood, but he’s been making movies since 2000, when he starred in a Swedish film about cross-cultural love. In Zero Dark Thirty he plays in an undercover CIA operative who hits the streets of Pakistan searching for clues to determine the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden.
Fun Fact: The quite cosmopolitan Fares was born in Beirut, educated in the UK and US at Tufts University, and hails from a very distinguished family. His dad served as deputy prime minister of Lebanon from 2000 to 2005.
