Zero Dark Thirty

The Hot Men of Zero Dark Thirty

Kyle Chandler

Born: September 17, 1965 in Buffalo, New York

Everyone’s favorite coach makes a play from the small screen where he starred in Friday Night Lights to the big screen as CIA station chief, Joseph Bradley. Whether he’s on the field or in the field we’ll watch dark-haired, broody-eyed Chandler play the field on any screen.

Fun Fact: Although Chandler is now a successful actor and proud father of two daughters, Sydney and Sawyer, he was once a nightclub bouncer. We like his wild side.

Filmography Includes: Super 8, Argo, Broken City

Chris Pratt

Born: June 21, 1979 in Virgina, Minnesota

While Chris Pratt usually brings the laughs in comedies like the knee-slapping series, Parks and Recreation and the raucous romcom, What’s Your Number?, he’s a serious stud in this dramatic film. His character, Justin, is a member of elite Seal Team 6, the highly-skilled special warfare development group that executed the operation to kill Bin Laden.

Fun Fact: Pratt is married to adorable funny woman, Anna Faris. The couple met on set and just welcomed their first child.

Filmography Includes: The Five Year Engagement, 10 Years, Moneyball, Take Me Home Tonight

Taylor Kinney

Born: July 15, 1981 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Taylor Kinney studied business management before becoming an actor, but he put smart money on his million-dollar smile, and it paid off. We’re certainly dazzled by his sexy smirk and beautiful baby blues.

Fun Fact: It took this uber-hottie to tame mega pop-sensation Lady Gaga, whom he has been dating since 2011. The actor said he fell for Gaga because she reminded him of his mom. Awww!

Filmography Includes: Least Among Saints, White Air

Jason Clarke

Born: July 17, 1969 in Winton, Queensland, Australia

Jason Clarke was born and raised in Oz, and there’s no place like home for this Aussie actor who still resides in the Outback. In Zero Dark Thirty, rugged and rakish Clarke has no time for romance; his character is busy as a CIA operative and interrogator who painstakingly collects information that eventually leads to the discovery of Bin Laden’s compound.

Fun Fact: Proving you can take the man out of the country, Clarke’s father is a sheep shearer in the Australian Outback.

Filmography Includes: Lawless, Swerve, The Great Gatsby (upcoming)

Harold Perrineau

Born: August 7, 1963 in Brooklyn New York

Perrineu has racked up tons of acting cred, having played crucial roles like Mercutio in the big-screen adaptation of Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo and Juliet to Michael in the addictive and acclaimed television series, Lost, and it’s no wonder—his appeal certainly isn’t lost on us. In this hair-raising movie, his character is a tech-savvy CIA operative who tracks the cell phone of an essential member of Bin Laden’s inner circle, eventually leading the CIA to the terrorist compound.

Fun Fact: A man of many talents, Perrineau is also a musician and released his first single “Stay Strong” in 2007.

Filmography Includes: Sunset Stories, Transit

Fares Fares

Born: April 29, 1973 in Beirut, Lebanon

This Lebanese heartthrob may be new to Hollywood, but he’s been making movies since 2000, when he starred in a Swedish film about cross-cultural love. In Zero Dark Thirty he plays in an undercover CIA operative who hits the streets of Pakistan searching for clues to determine the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden.

Fun Fact: The quite cosmopolitan Fares was born in Beirut, educated in the UK and US at Tufts University, and hails from a very distinguished family. His dad served as deputy prime minister of Lebanon from 2000 to 2005.

Filmography Includes: Safe House, Easy Money II

Joel Edgerton

Born: June 23, 1974 in Blacktown, New South Wales, Australia

You’d never know this actor was an Aussie by listening to his flawless American accent in Zero Dark Thirty—playing the squadron leader of Navy Seal Team 6, this handsome hunk sure had us convinced.

Fun Fact: He’s not just a fox, he’s a family man! Edgerton frequently collaborates on film projects with his brother, director Nash Edgerton. These sexy siblings make for a dashing double delight.

Filmography Includes: The Odd Life of Timothy Green, Warrior, The Great Gatsby (upcoming)
