The Rise and Fall Of Lance Armstrong’s Career Is Heading To The Big Screen!

Lance Armstrong’s career is set to unfold (and unravel) on the big screen as Hollywood heavyweight J.J. Abrams picks up the rights to “Cycle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstrong“.

The book the biopic will be based on was written by New York Times journalist Juliet Macur and is due out in June.  The reporter covered Lance’s cycling career for more than ten years and from the sound of the title, it’s going to be a scathing account of the truth about his seven Tour de France wins and the doping scandal that surrounded him for years.

No writer or director has been signed on for the deal just yet, but I’m sure it won’t be long.  Abrams is most well known for writing, directing and producing on huge hits like Star Trek, Lost and more!

Back in August Lance was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles and banned from Olympic sports and this week the International Olympic Committee stripped him of his bronze medal.

Have you been following the scandal?  Did you watch the first part of Oprah’s interview with Lance?  Do you think he’s sorry or just sorry that it all fell apart?
