Whole Foods Market has announced a recall of cheese from supplier Sally Jackson Cheese due to possible E. coli contamination.

On December 21, 2010 Whole Foods Market warned consumers to stop using and discard cheese from the supplier Sally Jackson Cheese sold by Whole Foods Market in California, Nevada, Washington and Washington DC as the cheese could be contaminated with E.coli. The cheese that has been recalled was cut and packaged in clear plastic wrap and sold with a Whole Foods Market scale label; some labels also list Sally Jackson. The company responded to the warning by issuing a recall for the product.
What should you do if you have purchased cheese from Whole Foods Market?
1. Check your cheese, the products affected are cow, goat and sheep milk cheese, cow and sheep milk cheese wrapped in chestnut leaves, goat milk cheese wrapped in grape leaves.
2. If you have any of the mentioned types of cheese do not ingest them.
