As I get older, I want to look as energetic and as youthful as I feel, and I definitely think that the Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream Skin Perfector helps me get there.
The thing I immediately loved about this BB cream is that, unlike so many others I’ve tried, this product is not at all greasy. After I apply the cream to my face, I don’t even feel like I have anything to wash off of my hands, and even after a busy day of running around, the BB cream still doesn’t feel greasy on my face.
I’m also impressed with the texture of the BB cream; it’s super smooth and thin, which makes it blend nicely for quick and easy application, and the coverage is excellent. And let me tell you: as a busy mom, always in a hurry trying to get out the door with two kids in tow, a quick and easy BB cream that also enhances my looks is crucial. (Frankly, I feel that as I get older, I have more work to do on my looks, and less time to do it!) I also love that this moisturizing BB cream has an SPF of 30. When I’m wearing it, I don’t freak out if I’ve forgotten a hat or my sunglasses. (Two important items that I, of course, forget all the time!) Even though my skin is fairly olive, I am one of those people who tries to never leave the house without sunscreen. A great thing about this BB cream is that while it functions as a protective sunscreen, it certainly doesn’t smell or feel like one—instead, it feels, smooth, light, and almost weightless.
When I first tried it, I applied in the bathroom with no other makeup and walked out into the living where my (always slightly distracted) husband was reading the paper. He looked up at me and asked, “Are we going out tonight?” Now, that’s a lovely compliment!
