Sure you see them everywhere but unless you wear the right one, the right way…you could end up on the week’s worst dressed column. Always wear a romper with flat sandals, flip-flops, wedges or espadrilles. DON’T wear a romper with tennis shoes – this will make you look like your 7-year old daughter.
Also, DON’T wear them with pigtails or braids in your hair, making you again look like you’re trying to be younger than you are. Rompers are great for casual days at the park, beach, pool or errands around town. You can also wear them to casual parties like backyard BBQs and birthday parties. While at first I was weary of the trend, it has grown on me and there are plenty of age-appropriate rompers out there but you just have to know where to look!
