Why we love it: Because we’re suckers for onesies on babies and matching mom-and-daughter jean skirts. Plus, buttoning up her shirt all the way lends a bit of geek chic to what would otherwise be a cute but tame outfit. Oh wait, and did you see her shoes? Yeah, we love them too.

Before kids, Kara was the sort of gal who backpacked around Europe in heels (true story), rocked tiny hats and really big bows (sometimes at the same time), and liked to think she was always up for an adventure.
