As we (hopefully!) all know, October is breast cancer awareness month , and with one in every eight women being diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, it’s an initiative near and dear to many of our hearts.
This month, I definitely urge you to take ten minutes to google breast cancer prevention. From simple self-checks, to mammograms and avoiding aluminum based products (like many deodorants/antiperspirants), we can help protect ourselves and our loved ones so we can healthily enjoy watching our children grow.
On a lighter note, there are ways to make your normal mommy-shopping habits matter this month. Check out this amazing roundup of basic beauty, fashion, home, and fitness products that support breast cancer awareness, research, and treatment.
