I’m not biased at all, but I have two of the cutest boys on the planet. They each have their own individual style, and I’ve absolutely loved watching it develop as they grow up. I never set out to have kids with cool hair. It just kind of happened. My oldest son has long (longer than mine!) curly hair that he says is his “trademark” and won’t cut it for anything. My youngest has straight blond hair that rotates between a long, shaggy cut and a short-ish surfer boy hairstyle. I never thought I’d be talking to my sons about hair treatments and leave-in conditioners, but I love that they express themselves with their hair.
Little boy haircuts tend to be fairly traditional, so I decided to scope out Instagram to see if I could find some other cool kids who have it going on in the hair department. I found eleven super cool boys with pretty awesome hair. These boys have style for days; they made me want to try a little harder with my own hair. Thanks, kids…you’ve just added another half an hour to my morning routine.

Modern Clean Cut
This little guy looks clean cut but cool. He keeps it classic with short sides, but leaving it longer in the front gives it a touch of edge. I'm also guessing this kid's closet is amazing. I can't even with the moto detail on his jeans.

Faux Hawk, Fo Real
I love a good spiky look on little boys. This one doesn't go too short on the sides, which makes it not too edgy for a toddler. But, seriously, his "blue steel" is on point.

How gorgeous is his natural curl?! I love hair that has a life of its own, and I can only imagine how big and unruly his bed head is. I know he doesn't, but in my head he lives near the Blue Lagoon.

Pomp and Circumstance
This might be the biggest pompadour I've ever seen. He's cool and seems effortless even though getting height like that probably requires a bit of coaxing. The short sides make this less 1950s and much more current. Does this kid remind anyone else of Rick Astley?

I'm totally jealous of his thick, luxurious hair. This long shaggy bob is adorable, and the natural curl gives it so much body. You HAVE to study this entire Instagram account. His older sister is my style icon (I think she's five), and you have to see this little guy dressed up like Edward Scissorhands! I die.

Free Spirit
Long hair on little boys is one my favorite hairstyles. The natural wave makes him seem like a total free spirit. But kids with long hair are tough. To be mistaken for a girl teaches you a lot of lessons, like how to politely stand up for yourself. And they look like little rock stars, which is adorable.

This is another Instagram account that is all about style. Along with two adorable sisters, this kid shows off his crazy cool vibe. He sports lots of great hair, but this style is my favorite. A hint of a mohawk is there, but I think this is WAY cooler.
