Jaime Pressly’s Lose-the-Baby Weight Diet

Homemade Cabbage Soup

  • 6 large green onions
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1 or 2 cans of tomatoes (diced or whole)
  • 1 bunch celery
  • 1/2 head cabbage
  • 1 package Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 or 2 cubes bouillon (optional)
  • 1 48 ounce can of tomato juice (like V8)
  • juice (optional)
  • seasonings, to taste (salt, pepper, parsley, curry, garlic powder, etc.)

Instructions:

Step 1: Throw everything into a big pot and cook on stove. Cover for the first 10 min. Uncover for last 5 minutes.

Tips:

  • Make soup fresh daily!!!
  • Cook enough for 6 small bowls.
  • After the 1st day, add cilantro, zucchini, squash, bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, bok choy and other delicious veggies to change it up daily.

Cabbage Soup 7 Day Meal Plan

Day 1

Eat Homemade Cabbage Soup, plus any fruit or smoothies. NO bananas.

Day 2

Eat Homemade Cabbage Soup, plus any other fruits and vegetables. NO peas, beans, or corn. (Salads are acceptable. You can use pepper & lemon or a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar as a dressing. Also, you must eat a baked potato with butter for dinner. Potatoes are off-limits on other days.)

Day 3

Eat Homemade cabbage soup, plus any other fruits and vegetables. NO potatoes.

Day 4

Eat Homemade cabbage soup, plus up to 8 bananas, 8 glasses of non-fat milk, & all the veggies you want. (Salads are acceptable, NO peas, beans, corn, or potatoes.)

Day 5

Eat Homemade cabbage soup, plus up to 20 ounces of cooked meat, chicken, or fish; up to 6 fresh tomatoes and all the veggies you want. (Salads are acceptable, NO peas, beans, corn, or potatoes.)

Day 6

Same as Day 5.

Day 7

Eat Homemade cabbage soup, plus as much steamed brown rice as you want and all the veggies you want. (Salads are acceptable, NO peas, beans, corn, or potatoes.)
