Seeing these sweet felted baby high tops instantly reminded me of the classic Chuck Taylor All-Stars, immortalized as the ultimate sneaker. After reading Etsy seller The Clever Kitty’s description of her booties, I discovered that she was, in fact, inspired by her “beloved Chuck Taylor’s,” a connection no one could deny.

While these boots were not made for walking, the 100% merino wool on these high top booties would make anyone want to sit back and enjoy the feel of the natural fibers on their toes. Shannon Hanley (a.k.a. The Clever Kitty) hand knits each high top with care, wet felts to shrink it down to a plush baby size, and tops it off with a matching ribbon shoe lace.
