Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer donate an autographed “True Blood” script to help four orphaned children.
The co-stars and real-life couple are auctioning off a script from the HBO show on eBay to help raise money for the children of the Darnell family. Last year Kirk Darnell, 47, died unexpectedly of a heart attack and just a few months later his wife Missy, 43, and her ten year old daughter were struck and killed by a car while they were walking to a nearby store, leaving behind four children. Anna and Stephen first learned of the family in fall and have been doing what they can to help raise money for the surviving siblings. This is the second time they’ve donated “True Blood” memorabilia to help the kids and they even participated in a huge fundraiser for them last October.
I just can’t even wrap my brain around that kind of loss at any age; it’s heartbreaking. It’s wonderful that so many are rallying around them to do what they can to help. Bill and Sookie – they’re just good people both on and off the screen.
