Hollywood’s A-Listers attended the BAFTA “Brits to Watch” gala event on Saturday night with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The BAFTA Vice Chairperson, Duncan Kenworthy, told the guests there was no need to be formal with the royal couple: “They want to meet all of you. They will try and chat to all of you this evening. When you meet them, you don’t have to bow and curtsy. You can call them whatever you feel: ‘Your Royal Highness,’ ‘Sir,’ ‘Ma’am,’ ‘William’ and ‘Kate’ – just as the mood takes you.”
Kate chose a lilac pleated chiffon gown by Alexander McQueen and Jimmy Choo sandals.
After Duchess Catherine, I think Jennifer Garner was the best dressed of the evening. She looked radiant in this navy blue one-shoulder gown.
Nicole Kidman sparkled in this soft blue custom Elie Saab Couture gown.
Jennifer Lopez wore my least favorite look of the night. In my humble opinion, I just don’t think this is one of her more flattering (or classy) gowns.
Jack Black and his wife Tanya Haden
Dana Delaney took a huge fashion risk with those striped accessories and I’m not so sure if they work. It looks like she won an orange and black snake at the county fair. Thoughts?
Blake Lively was stunning in her Marchesa one-shoulder gown.
