Angelina Jolie shares her boys’ interesting taste for bugs.
The mom of six just finished filming a Louis Vuitton campaign commercial in Cambodia, where her oldest son, Maddox, was born. While they were there, Maddox, 9, and Pax, 7, fell in love with crickets!
“My boys love to eat crickets. It’s their favorite thing. When I first gave it to them . . . I wanted them not to be turned off by something that was of their culture. They ate them like Doritos, and they wouldn’t stop. They brought to-go boxes home and I had to actually ban the cricket eating at a certain point because I was afraid they were going to get sick from too many.”
Angelina has tried them, too: “They’re good. They’re like a potato chip.”
One thing she doesn’t think she could attemp to eat is the “tarantula pop”. “It does seem like an odd thing to eat. I don’t know if I can get around the fur, but you’ve got to try everything.”
