Jack Black rocked out at The Grove in L.A. for The Miracle Project’s Austism Is Awesomism concert.
Jack and Stephen Stills lent their musical talents for the charity gig, which will be featured on an upcoming episode of ABC’s Everyday Health. The concert’s goal was to show all that is awesome about autism by highlighting the talents of kids with autism. Celebrity guests also made appearances, like ‘Parenthood’ star Max Burkholder and Holly Robinson Peete’s husband Rodney and their son RJ, who is autistic
“The concert is designed to raise awareness for autism and provide funding for The Miracle Project, a fully inclusive theater arts program using original music, movement and drama for children and teens on the spectrum with their peers to develop social skills and creative expression.”
Wyatt Isaacs (shown above with Jack), a 16 year old with autism, is an advocate who works hard to spread the word on diversity acceptance and appreciating our differences. Wyatt has been cast in the new show, Everyday Health, and was also the star of the HBO documentary, AUTISM: The Musical. He also recorded a song with Jack and Stephen, “Sensitive”, which is on the benefit album FLY.
