Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald exchanged wedding vows yesterday!
After a whirlwind romance the Twilight star and the American Idol alum tied the knot in front of 100 guests at a private ranch in Malibu, California on Sunday.
Nikki and Paul met in March at the premiere of ‘Red Riding Hood’, which was directed by Nikki’s close friend and ‘Twilight’ director Catherine Hardwicke (who also directed Nikki in her debut film ’13’). They couple announced their engagement just a few months later.
Nikki and Paul said in a joint statement yesterday:
“We couldn’t be happier! [We were] surrounded by our family and friends. We’re so glad this day has come!”
I’m sure the timing worked out well for them, as Nikki’s schedule is about to get hectic and crazy with the upcoming promotional tours for ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1″.
