While the country was buzzing about the Oscars this weekend and even more so on Monday, two celebrities quietly snuck in some news about their weddings and another got engaged!
- After getting engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2010, Christina Applegate and her fiance Martyn LeNoble tied the knot! The couple opted for a small and private ceremony at their home on Saturday, February 23rd. The newlyweds are parents to a daughter, Sadie, 2.
- Also fessing up to wedding news: Janet Jackson! The singer admitted to ET that she and her billionaire beau Wissam Al Mana got married – last year! They shared, “the rumors regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony. Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favorite children’s charities.”
- Saturday Night Live comedian Andy Samberg announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Joanna Newsom, a singer-songwriter.
