5 Attractions That Offer Something for Everyone at Walt Disney World

Everyone in my family loves Walt Disney World, but we don’t always agree on our favorite attractions. While my kids would ride all day on the Mad Tea Party’s spinning cups, I have my limits. And where I will always want to use my FastPass+ on Space Mountain, my littles aren’t yet roller coaster-ready.

Luckily, there are many Walt Disney World attractions that truly offer something for everyone, from toddlers to grandparents, allowing the whole gang to stick together and share the fun. Whether the members of your squad prefer thrill rides or more low-key adventures, here are five Disney attractions that will delight everyone in the family.

5 Attractions That Offer Something for Everyone at Walt Disney World

Toy Story Land

Coming soon to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Land “shrinks” you down to the size of a toy by making everything around you enormous, from over-sized building blocks to massive board games. Just imagine being greeted at the entrance by a 20-foot tall Woody the cowboy! (And watch out for Andy’s giant footprint, which is rumored to be made from a size 240 shoe.) Rides will include the family-friendly coaster Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers, a toy rocket ride that takes place inside a Pizza Planet play set, where you might just get “chosen” by the claw. Toy Story Land doesn’t officially premiere until June 30, but Toy Story Mania, a 4D arcade shootin’ game, is already open and a total blast.

Frozen Ever After

If your tribe hasn’t been able to “Let it Go” since seeing Frozen, then this boat ride through Arendelle is sure to melt everyone’s heart. Located in the Norway pavilion at Epcot (where else?), Frozen Ever After features impressive animatronic versions of the cast dramatizing their stories, including Kristoff and his troll family, Olaf the snowman and of course Anna and Elsa, who belts out her showstopper from a shining ice palace. Even the snow monster’s growls sound pretty friendly, making this a safe bet for your littlest while keeping the whole crew entertained.

Kilimanjaro Safari

Board an open-air safari truck at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for an 18-minute journey into the heart of Africa (by way of Orlando). Knowledgeable guides will help you navigate stunning wildlife roaming the 110-acre reserve, including giraffes, ostriches, and baboons. Keep your eyes peeled and your camera ready because that rock poking out from a pond might just be a hippo! Safari rides are safe for all ages, though it’s smart to tuck little ones between the grown-ups. And if the weather is hot, consider an evening safari when the rhinos and lions are especially lively.

It’s a Small World

When you need a break from the Florida sun at Magic Kingdom, escape into It’s a Small World’s cool, dark, and soothing boat ride that lasts a pleasing 10 minutes plus. A classic for a reason, It’s a Small World offers a joyous vision of peace and tolerance with its charming singing dolls from around the world. Just don’t blame us if you can’t get the music out of your head later.

Happily Ever After Fireworks

Cap off your day at the Magic Kingdom watching Disney’s amazing new fireworks spectacular set to music from more than 17 movies, from Aladdin to Zootopia. Going way beyond mere sparklers, Happily Ever After features lasers, lights, and digital projections that shine Disney characters high up on the walls of iconic Cinderella castle. And for that extra dose of pixie dust, don’t miss Tinker Bell flitting across the sky!
