Kids with cell phones is a subject of much debate, but Pink isn’t debating — no cell phones. The now 42-year-old singer has a son, Jameson Moon, 5, and a daughter, Willow Sage, 10. As Willow approaches those teenage years, Pink stands firm that a cell phone is still a ways off.
Pink Isn’t Pressured By Peers, Hers or Willow’s
The subject came up on a recent interview with Carson Daly on the Today Show, reports PEOPLE. How long before Willow will have her own cell phone? Pink says, “I’m not there yet.”
“There’s a light side and a shadow side to technology in general,” Pink explained, including adults. For kids, it’s naturally far more of a concern and could potentially set a stage for adulthood.
It doesn’t matter to Pink whether fellow parents are getting cell phones for their kids, or if Willow’s peers have them. Willow has, according to Pink, brought that up, though. “I have a 10-year-old who does not have a phone, although she point out to me yesterday, ‘You know most of the kids in my class, fifth grade, have a phone,” she says. Then, goes on to say that this “doesn’t move my needle” at all. “I don’t care,” she says.
In a world of digital devices, Pink decided not to give her daughter, Willow, a phone. The singer reportedly 'doesn't care' that most of Willow's classmates have one. https://t.co/k2shr9MEri

Pink did, of course, admit that she won’t be able to keep this gate locked forever. “We can’t be dinosaurs ourselves as parents,” she says. “We have to sort of embrace it and go with it.” That just doesn’t have to be right this minute.
In general, Pink is still trying to figure out where she wants to draw boundary lines. Not just with phones, but with other relatable matters, as well. Like in-home boundaries between parents and kids.
“I’ll go in the shower and have a full, out-loud conversation with myself and I’ll turn around and Willow’s been standing there staring at me the entire time,” she recounted, amused. “We really need to get more locks in this house.”
