Kids love nachos and adults can’t resist it as well. However, regular nachos aren’t the healthiest, especially if your children snack on them regularly. Instead, add a twist to the dish by making apple nachos that are perfect for fall. Slice the fruits in a shape of your choice and ask your little ones to get creative and garnish their plate with scary candy eyeballs, malted chocolates, etc. The plate will surely be licked clean within minutes. To make your kids feel more involved in the kitchen, let them cut the apples into spooky shapes with cookie cutters to make the sweet treat fit for Halloween.

White Skull Snack Board

While the name sounds interesting to begin with, the recipe is all the more so. The best part about this Halloween sweet treat is that there is no cooking involved. You simply have to arrange a few edible items on a charcuterie board in the shape of a skull. It is similar to a cheese board but with sweet treats instead. You can let your kids take over this project while you work on other things. All they have to do is make a skull shape with the help of dark chocolate chips, popcorn, powdered donuts, white chocolate-covered pretzels, white chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and mini peanut butter cups.

Halloween Pretzels

Get your kids involved while making chocolate-covered Halloween pretzels. It’s as easy as it sounds! Simply melt different types of chocolate chips or bars and dip pretzels in them. Your children can get creative with the dipping. Instead of covering pretzels completely with dark chocolate, they can cover a third of the pretzel in dark chocolate, a third in white, and the remaining in milk chocolate. To make it spooky, add edible eyes on top and leave it to set before consuming.

Halloween Candy Bark

This is a five-minute Halloween sweet treat recipe that your kids are bound to love. Simply melt any chocolate of your child’s choice, and spread it in a thin layer on a baking sheet. Let your kiddos add candies, rainbow sparkles, googly eyes, and candy bones to make it extra spooky. Allow the chocolate to cool down for at least two hours before your next step. Then, ask your little ones to break it into bite-size pieces.

Cake Pops

You can make endless spooky variations of cake pops this October 31st. Mix in cakes, cookies, and melted chocolate together. Then, roll the mixture into balls, and place them on sticks. Now, dip these balls into melted chocolate and play around with the decoration till you are satisfied. You can add scary eyes with veins, monster eyes, attach chocolate legs, and so on for added fun. Feel free to leave this step for your children to showcase their creativity.

Monster Sandwich Cookies

These monster cookies won’t bite you, but your kids are sure to take a massive bite out of them. Make a sandwich of your children’s favorite cookies with mascarpone cream or ganache in between. Add big marshmallow eyes on top of the cookies and voila, your monster cookies are ready. You can also add mini marshmallows in between to make them look like teeth to give them that extra touch of spookiness.

Monster Rice Krispies Treats, Sandwich Cookie Spider Cupcakes, Skeleton Thumbprint Cookies, Graveyard Brownies, Halloween Spiderweb Pancakes, and Spider Cookie Truffles are a few other sweet treat ideas that you can make for your kids on Halloween. So, get help from those little hands and prepare these easy Halloween desserts with them for a fun family time.
