Heather Rae El Moussa is thankful to her baby for making motherhood “easier” for her. In a People magazine exclusive, Heather opened up about how motherhood is “truly the best experience” for her. The “Selling Sunset” star spoke about her motherhood journey with the outlet, stating, “I did not think that I would love being a mom as much as I do, and I truly love being a mommy.”
Heather Rae’s Son Has a Happy Temperament
Heather Rae El Moussa and her husband, Tarek El Moussa, welcomed their firstborn on January 31, 2023. The proud mama can’t thank her 9-month-old son Tristan Jay enough for making her parenting journey so happy and easy-going.
In a recent conversation with People magazine, the “Selling Sunset” star shared that her son makes being a mom “easier” due to his “happy” temperament. She said, “I’m lucky that my son is such a great baby and I have him on a really good routine.” She went on to note that she believes in having a routine for a baby. While she admits it can be chaotic initially, she truly believes the parent and child can use a good routine.
Heather admitted that being a mom “didn’t really stop” her, and she didn’t change her routine after having a little human to care for. She “just continued” with her “normal life” despite being exhausted at times looking after her newborn. She still gets up at 6 in the morning every day and goes about her day as she did pre-baby.
The reality star noted that she doesn’t have “a lot of time” to unwind as she is busy with work and home. Explaining about her life after becoming a mother, Heather said, “I’m a very driven, motivated person. I’m still filming my TV show. I am a mom. I have two stepkids. I’m a wife. I handle a lot around my household, so there’s not a lot of time to feel like cr*p and lay in bed” (via People).
Other than Tristan, Heather Rae is also a stepmom to Brayden and Taylor. They are the kids of Tarek and his ex-wife, Christina Hall. Her exclusive interview comes weeks after Heather Rae confirmed her exit from the hit reality show, “Selling Sunset.” On the Netflix TV series, she was a real estate agent in Oppenheim Group, selling luxurious properties to the rich amid all the drama.
Although she will continue being a real estate agent at the Oppenheim Group, Heather is stepping back from the show to focus on a new venture alongside her husband Tarek, HGTV’s “The Flipping El Moussas.”
