Hilary Duff Announces Pregnancy With Holiday Card

On Dec. 12, 2023, Hilary Duff took to Instagram to announce her fourth pregnancy. This will mark her third baby with husband Matthew Koma, with whom she already shares two daughters: 2-year-old Mae and 4-year-old Banks. Duff also has a son from her previous marriage with Mike Comrie, 11-year-old Luca (via Billboard).

The pregnancy announcement came as a holiday card, as Hilary Duff can be seen posing with her hand on her baby bump. The Christmas card read, “So much for silent nights,” at the front. The back of the card was more obvious as it exclaimed, “Buckle up Buttercups, we’re adding one more to this crazy bunch!”

Matthew Koma also took to Instagram to share the big news, captioning the post, “Baby #4 is loading…” The singer jokingly tagged the Vasectomy Clinic as his location (via People). He also commented on Hilary Duff’s pregnancy announcement, cheekily exclaiming, “The stalker from jail gonna be so mad.”

Fans were thrilled to hear the big news. Duff’s “Cheaper by the Dozen” co-star Alyson Stoner also commented on her Instagram post, exclaiming, “Just 8 more to complete the pack!” Demi Lovato took to Koma’s Instagram post instead, commenting, “Omg!!! Congratulations!!!!”

Hilary Duff loves the mayhem that is parenting

Hilary Duff’s new addition doesn’t come as a surprise, as she finds it “endlessly rewarding” (via Shape). In June 2023, the “Lizzie McGuire” star told the outlet she was in her “family-making phase.”

She credited her husband for making it all smooth sailing, exclaiming that he was a fantastic dad. In an interview, she stated that Koma assisted her through breastfeeding and more. The actress-singer was impressed with his ability to see the big picture (via People).

Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma first met when they collaborated for “Breathe In. Breathe Out.” They were in an on-and-off relationship for years before making it official. The couple got engaged in May 2019 and got married later that year in December.
