Yeoh further disclosed that due to the struggle, she started self-doubting and even blamed herself. However, she believed the self-blaming needed to stop for her to move on in life. Yeoh asserted, “I think at some point, you stop blaming yourself.” The actor further explained, “There are certain things in your body that doesn’t function in a certain way. That’s how it is.” She then added how one must just “let go and move on.”

When the host asked her whether she had “reconciled” and accepted the entire situation and how long it took her to get there, Yeoh responded, “Sometimes, honestly, I still think about it.” During the conversation, she also revealed that her fertility struggle was a primary reason that ended her relationship with her first husband, Sir Dickson Poon. She said, “It took a long time because that also, maybe, would be the main factor that broke up my first marriage.” Yeoh then continued to talk about how it was a brave and good decision for them not to extend their relationship.
