She has a Bachelor of Early Childhood, a Graduate Diploma in Teacher Librarianship and a Masters of Innovative Teaching and Learning. She is on the QLD chapter of the board of the Australian Children’s Laureate and the Publications Committee of the National Library of Australia. She also thinks sleep is overrated.
