Kristen Bell’s daughter has washed her hair in Vaseline. So, her bad day trumps yours.
The 39-year-old “Frozen 2” actress, who shares 6-year-old daughter Lincoln and 5-year-old daughter Delta with her husband Dax Shepard, recently shared on Instagram that one of her kids had tried to lather up with petroleum jelly. And from the looks of it, she failed miserably at it.
She said: “My daughter just washed her hair with Vaseline and I can’t get it out. Has this ever happened to anyone? Does anyone have any tips on how to get it out?” And then she shared a photo of her little one’s greasy mane.
She added: “I’ve washed it three times now but it’s not getting any better.”
Fortunately for Bell, her daughter wasn’t the first child to try this “beauty treatment.” There were tons of other parents who had a similar experience and they were more than happy to dole out some advice. The secret? Dish washing liquid.
She explained: “Okay, the consensus was dish soap and I appreciate that. I’m very grateful for you guys, ’cause I don’t know what I’m doing.”
Do any of us actually ever know what we are doing when it comes to parenthood? I’m guessing not.
