Duct Tape and Washi Tape Flip Flop Decorating Craft

Supplies:

flip flops: 1 pair
duct tape ¾ inch wide: 1 roll
washi tape ¾ inch wide: 1 roll
stick-on gems
glue

Instructions:

Step 1: Stripe up your dollar-store flip flops by adding strips of duct tape in a coordinating color. Add a stripe about every ¾ inch and fold the tape over the side of the shoe to the base. Repeat the process on the second shoe.

Step 2: Use a second color of duct tape or washi tape to wrap the straps. Just wrap the tape around the strap from base to base.

Step 3: Add a decorative stick-on gemstone to the center of the strap. Use extra glue to make sure it stays in place.
