Ranch Snack Mix in a Jar

Snack mix in a jar recipe

This recipe will make about six quart jars of snack mix. Plenty for all of your neighbors.

Ingredients:

vegetable oil: 1 cup
ranch dip mix: 1 package
garlic salt: 1 teaspoon
mini pretzels: 6 cups
sesame nut mix: 2 cups
Rice Chex cereal: 8 cups
oyster crackers: 4 cups

Directions:

Step 1: Combine the pretzels, nut mix, Rice Chex, and oyster crackers in a large bowl.

Step 2: In a smaller bowl, mix together the vegetable oil, ranch dip mix, and garlic salt.

Step 3: Pour the oil mixture slowly over the snack mixture, mixing as you go.

Step 4: Mix thoroughly so the snack mix is thoroughly coated.

Step 5: Spread the mixture onto two cookie sheets and bake at 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 1½ hours.

Step 6: Scoop the finished snack mix into quart jars to give to friends and neighbors with the printable recipe attached.
