All you need are a few marbles, a regular muffin pan, and cupcake papers! If you have kids in the house, there’s an excellent chance you’ll have a handful of marbles laying around.
Oh, and you’ll also need your favorite muffin or cupcake recipe! How cute would a plateful delicious hearts be at your Valentine’s Day party? Or to bring to your child’s class on Valentine’s Day?! I know . . . so cute! This is so easy and fun, so let’s get started!
To make heart shapes, place a marble between the outside of the paper cup and the inside of each circle. Set aside.
Fill each paper cup about 3/4 the way up with your muffin or cupcake batter.
Bake!
Some Additional Notes:
Should your kiddos not have any marbles, a crumbled piece of foil will work, too! If your paper cup pops up and out of the pan when you insert the marble or foil, fill it with a bit of the batter first to weight it down.
I wish I could say I came up this fabulous idea on my own, but alas I’ve seen it done before — and I think it’s brilliant!
