Ingredients:
- 8 ounce container fresh mozzarella (boconcinni) balls (packed in water, not seasoned in oil)
- 1/3 cup store-bought or fresh pesto genovese sauce
- approximately 20 fresh basil leaves
- toothpicks
Preparation:
Step 1: Remove mozzarella balls from water and place onto a paper towel to drain.
Step 2: Skewer one piece of basil onto each of the 20 or so toothpicks, followed by a mozzarella ball.
Step 3: Dip each of the mozzarella balls into the pesto sauce and place on serving platter.
